CONSORTIUM MEETING

SEAL-HYDROGEN successfully holds Third Consortium Meeting in Lille, France

The SEAL-HYDROGEN project marked another significant step forward with the successful conclusion of its III Consortium Meeting, held in Lille (France) on May 12-13 and hosted by HORIBA France. This crucial gathering brought together all project partners: HORIBA, Siemens Energy, Matteco, Helmholtz-Institut Erlangen-Nürnberg für Erneuerbare Energien (HI ERN) and Universitat de València.

The meeting provided an invaluable platform for partners to share comprehensive updates on their investigations and the overall progress of the project. Gonzalo Abellán, project coordinator, led discussions by outlining key advances, addressing challenges and proposing improvements for the path ahead. A major highlight of the meeting was the achievement of the project’s first milestone and the exciting news of a paper publication in a high-impact journal.

Discussions during the two-day event also covered essential aspects such as Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), planning the next steps, identifying areas for improvement, and addressing specific parts of the project requiring additional support, along with proposals for resolution. The consortium reinforced its shared vision, concluding the meeting with a strong emphasis on evolving the project towards advanced alkaline water electrolysis for efficient green hydrogen production.

Looking ahead, the SEAL-HYDROGEN consortium is already planning its fourth meeting, which will take place in Berlin this December, hosted by Siemens Energy at their facilities. These regular face-to-face interactions are invaluable for strengthening partnerships and successfully advancing shared project goals.
